About my poems...

I started writing poetry about 20 years ago now. I have no formal training in poetry writing, being a science university graduate, so what I write is just how it comes.

There is a feeling of natural history and environmental issues which runs through most of my poetry and, although I am a little influenced by WB Yeats and Ted Hughes, I am perhaps more influenced by music.

As I have just published some poetry, I have included just a few samples of my work here. I will occasionally update this list as I write more but I am working on two other poetry volumes for future publication through Lulu.
