Together We

The sea is full of sunlight,

a little more than yesterday.

Despite the greyness, shining bright –

a brilliant star has come to play

within the golden ocean

that flows with our emotion

and our love

that fills the air above.

Storms will stir the embers

but still the light will shine

and forever be remembered –

a perfect heart so fine.

Each shimmering wave that races,

each fear, each thought embraces

dancing through

to forge a love that’s true.

Here and now, together we

find a strength inside,

knowing we together see

the light that is our pride.

Like an angel, guiding

and yet our love reminding

no angel is as pure as this –

the love of hearts that’s always his.
